American Occupational Therapy Association’s INSPIRE 2021

Recently, an occupational therapist from the Pediatric Partners in Fargo attended the AOTA INSPIRE 2021. This is the leading occupational therapist (OT) conference through the American Occupational Therapy Association and provides an incredible opportunity for occupational therapists to continue their education, network, collaborate, and share their experience.

Throughout these courses, providers were able to learn new techniques for visual processing deficits, dental environment, sleep and sensory processing, modifications, and also how to help parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. These new strategies can be implemented to improve children’s physical, social, and emotional development, sensory processing skills, and cognition.
