Biography
Dr. Twyla Nielsen received her PhD in Human Development and Master of Education in Counseling Education from North Dakota State University. She also received her Master’s in Social Work from St. Cloud State University.

Dr. Twyla Nielsen comes to Pediatric Partners with over 20 years experience with in-home family therapy, K-12 school counseling, and academic advising.
What do you enjoy most about working with children?
Dr. Twyla Nielsen has a passion with working with kids, watching them grow and have their skill set advance to the next level. Working with kids, everyday provides a new experience!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In her free time, Dr. Twyla Nielsen likes to spend time with family and friends at the lake, travel with her husband, and spend time snuggling with her “fur babies” Thundar, Carson, Gibbs and Abby.
