Vision Techniques for Eye Movement Disorders Associated with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other Neurological Disorders: Hands-on Assessments and Treatments for Children and Adolescents

Bismarck Occupational Therapists, Mollie and Kaylee recently attended an online course “Vision Techniques for Eye Movement Disorders Associated with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia & Other Neurological Disorders: Hands-on Assessments and Treatments for Children and Adolescents” hosted by PESI.  Mollie and Kaylee chose to complete this training to expand their knowledge and skills needed to assess for ocular motor concerns in children, as well as how to treat these deficits that are impacting children in completion of everyday tasks.

Both therapists would like parents to know that vision can often be an overlooked issue affecting areas such as attention, fine motor, and gross motor skills in children. Mollie and Kaylee and other Occupational Therapists at Pediatric Partners can assess these ocular motor functions and use various treatment strategies to improve these skills.
